Johnson's Pinegrove Farm is located on the northwest end of Lower Balsam Lake. The Farm encompasses 205 acres. We raise a variety of beef cattle and over the years have raised Roan Shorthorn, Black Angus, Red Angus, Hereford, Holstein, Charolais, Simmental and Guernsey cattle.
Johnson's Pinegrove Farm was established in the summer of 1969 and is still an active farming operation today. It is the oldest and longest continually operating farming operation in Balsam Township (T58, R24). It has been in continual operation producing livestock and/or crops since 1904 when Oskar Pelander started faring here
